I'm running macOS Sierra. I download files into a Dropbox folder (encrypted by Boxcryptor, naturally) so that I can access the same downloads on both my Mac and MacBook.
I'm finding that .DMG files downloaded into my Boxcryptor-protected Dropbox folder cannot be opened, as I see the following message:
"<filename>.dmg is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk."
If I copy the files out of Boxcryptor and onto, say, my desktop they work just fine.
You can see some more details here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7774665
Do you know what's going on, and how I can fix this? I'm thinking I may have to share the downloads without using Boxcryptor - which would be a shame.
