Can I delete the "_encrypted" suffix that Boxcryptor adds to the folder name?

I have many files with vba code that saves files to folders as listed in the code. It won't save to the folder after the word "encrypted" is added by Boxcryptor. Is it okay to rename the folder to remove that suffix or will that interfere with Boxcryptor or Dropbox? Is there a setting I can change to prevent the suffix from being added?

Hello Deb,

Yes, you can remove the "_encrypted" suffix without any problems after a folder has been encrypted. Boxcryptor adds this suffix in order to make it easier for sync client to detect the changes (some sync clients can have problems if the name stays the same).
