Files are not encrypted

I created a new drive and for my understanding and the way the classic worded was. When i put something in the open mounted drive then it get encrypted and saved in the storage place. But i checked the files and in both locations there are not encrypted

Hi klausdieter123,

The encryption process is handled hierarchically. Means that if you drop a file into an encrypted folder, the file will also be encrypted (with the same encryption and permission settings). Usually Boxcryptor will ask you if you want to encrypt when dropping a file within an plain unencrypted folder, depending on your advanced settings however this message might not appear.
