Upgrade to BC2: Following instructions made me lose access: Password not accepted

Hi,

I updated to bc2, followed the instructions and ended up with my whole dropbox inside BC2 folder. Problem: Inside Dropbox was BC-Classic folder - which now I cannot access anymore. I got rid of BC2, re-installed BC-Classic but password-prompt keeps returning despite entering the correct password.

I cannot access any of my files now. Someone did not think this through...

Please download this "unofficial" version of Boxcryptor Classic which should allow you to migrate your data even if you already upgraded to macOS Sierra:

Hi Robert,
the file was not available via the dropbox link. I upgraded my OS to Mavericks, not Sierra if that makes any difference. I have received a few versions of BClassic from the BC Support Team (one was the version you referenced here), but none of them did the trick. At first, I get a message about BC needing to install a Boxcryptor Classic Folder icon for OS 10.9.5 with a password prompt, then I get asked to enter my BC Password and get stuck in the same loop as my password is not recognized. I think I will have to give up using BC.
