OS: Windows 10 Build 1703 (Creators Update)
Boxcryptor version: 2.10.542
Hello,
I experience several problems that may or may not be related to the latest Windows 10 build.
I have a central OneDrive account where all my files are hosted. In order to use Boxcryptor for secure access I have shared specific folders with my personal OneDrive account. These folders are encrypted within the central account, access permissions are configured.
I am able to access the folders within the Boxcryptor drive. However, when I try to open an encrypted file (i.e. Office file like *.docx, *.xlsx, aso. or KeePass file) the application (i.e. Excel) tells me that the file cannot be opened.
If I decrypt the file then I am able to open it but saving the file does not work (error message "...the file could be damaged"). I have to save the file to my local system (i.e. Desktop) and from there I can move the file to the folder in the Boxcryptor drive. So access permissions should be fine.
I guess Microsoft again has made some "secret" changes to Windows behaviour here... ;-)
Regards,
Ben
