Context menu displays Asian characters

I'm not sure if they're Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. but, the context menu that displays when right-click dragging an item to a non-encrypted destination, shows characters in a foreign language (see screenshot 1). Clicking on the item causes a prompt asking if I'm sure that I'd like to encrypt the file (see screenshot 2). I don't find any sort of language settings in the preferences, and my OS language is not set to anything of the sort. This only happens with Boxcryptor and not with any other apps.

regarding your issue with the "asian" characters, please create a debug log and sent it to our support email-address (support@boxcryptor.com), referring to the post here.

In the email chain from your support people, after sending in the debug log, they stated that the next update would contain a fix for this. The newest version, which only just came out a few days ago, does NOT address this issue. I emailed support again, to let them know, but I've not received any responses so far, so I decided to also post about it here.
