Greetings!
It's my understanding that when using the android boxcryptor app to access my encrypted cloud services, local copies are not stored on the android device. I guess my first question is if this is a correct understanding?
Assuming this is the case, does selecting a file and clicking the download button create a local copy? And if so, is this local copy synced with the cloud version just as it would be on my PC (where everything is stored both locally & in the cloud)?
Final question - assuming the answer to the above is also yes: Is it possible to select an entire folder hierarchy (a selected folder and all contained files/subdirectories) to store and synch locally? From what I can tell it isn't - when I select a file the download icon is enabled, when I select a folder it is disabled (greyed out). If not - why not? This would be a GREAT feature! In my case, I'm creating a directory of files I want to be available (offline) to every member of my family, so to be able to edit/add to/delete files in one place and see those changes reflected locally on each device would be awesome. Any way to do this easily, and if not, any plans to incorporate such functionality in the future?
Thanks!
