Hi leilajake, hi JRMBXL,
The Boxcryptor Drive does NOT consume any space, as it is purely virtual.
The Space indicator of the drive shows basically the Space combined of all drives that have a Boxcryptor location on it:
Say you have 3 Hard Drives C: (with 100 GB space, 30 GB free), D: (with 500 GB space, 100 GB free) and E:(1000 GB space, 400 GB free).
On C: you have OneDrive and Dropbox enabled as a Boxcryptor location, on D: you have a "non-synced" private folder that is added as a Boxcryptor location, too.
The X: Drive will then show 600 GB space, where 130 GB is free.
One thing to mention is that when having "Recycle Bin" support enabled, all your files that are moved to the recycle bin will be stored in the Boxcryptor application folder.
If you never clear your recycle bin, this may result in extra space consumption of the hard drive that holds your User Data folder.
Best regards,
Florian
