Hello,
I am currently using the free version of Boxcryptor, on a Windows 10 platform. My issue is that for files uploaded and encrypted, users without permission can still see the title of the files. So while they cannot open the documents, the title still gives away some sensitive information. I have changed the security setting to hide file names, but as I understand it, this only works for new items encrypted but not already existing Boxcryptor files.
I have read Ch 6 "Filename Encryption for Shared Folders" on the blogpost detailing Boxcryptor Best Practices (https://www.boxcryptor.com/en/blog/post/8-best-practices-and-insights-to-get-the-most-out-of-boxcryptor/) as well as "Work With Filename Encryption" in Help topics (https://www.boxcryptor.com/en/help/work-with-files/windows/#work-with-filename-encryption). In the latter, it says: "To change the filename encryption settings of already encrypted items, right-click them and select Boxcryptor → Enable / Disable filename encryption in the context menu".
This seems straightforward enough, except that I don't see such an option anywhere. Am I just stupid or blind? Please help. Thank you in advance.
