Support for pCloud

Hello flanco,

right now we have no official support for PCloud.

However, Boxcryptor works with almost every cloud provider.
As long as you have a folder which gets synchronized you can easily add this folder as a Boxcryptor Location.
Please have a look at this tutorial:

On mobile the situation is a little bit different, because we have to implement every provider by ourselves.
However, if PCloud supports webDAV, you can easily add it with our mobile apps.
As far as we know, PCloud started to support WebDAV.

You should be able to connect with these settings:
Link: https://webdav.pcloud.com
Port: 443
Username: {Your user name}
Password: {Your password}

I am sure that the PCloud support will be glad to help in case you have trouble connecting via webDAV.

PCloud is on our list of cloud providers which should be included, but I can neither say if nor when official support will be available.

Smart update.....
I use pCloud on Win10 and on Android smartphone. Under Windows Boxcryptor integrates pCloud (and its files) automatically in the mapped Explorer-Drive (in most cases drive X: ). This works fine.
In the smartphone app, pCloud is integrable via the webdav-option like Yasmin described. You should pay attention, that pCloud offers two different data locations (USA / Europe), so there are also different webdav-addresses:

USA: https://webdav.pcloud.com/
Europe: https://ewebdav.pcloud.com/
(which one is the right for you depends on which you chose in the moment of account creation at pCloud)

For login use the e-mail-address and password, you registered for the pCloud account.

Question for Yasmin, rather that the original poster, .. so how do you determine which Cloud Providers to put on your 'list' and what is the criteria .. Can us Boxcryptor users help by notifying our 'other non supported as yet' Cloud Providers.

Personally I try to stay away from American based providers and I use JottaCloud (Scandinavian Neutral Based), or so I am led to believe, but not supported by BoxCryptor yet ..

well, the most important thing is how much requests we have for a Cloud.
Some of them are needed more than others, so there is more potential.
And don't forget that we are a small company, and so we have to make wise decisions here.

About Jottacloud: actually, we have here the same situation, not supported (yet).
