Hello everyone! I am a new user of such a great encryption software as Boxcryptor. I want my files to be secured and Boxcryptor seems to be the optimal solution. But I have a question. Let me explain a hypothetical situation:
1. I encrypt my files on Google Drive with Boxcryptor.
2. I save the encrypted files to other cloud storage and/or external HDD.
3. I install Google Backup and Sync + Boxcryptor on other device.
Here is the question: would it be possible to decrypt my files from reserve cloud storage and/or external HDD? In other words is it enough to have files encrypted with Boxcryptor and an access to the Boxcryptor account to decrypt those files?
I just want to be sure that if I couldn’t get access to my main Google account my files wouldn’t be lost forever.
