Error MAC: "Boxcryptor" can't be opened because the original item cannot be found

I yesterday installed Boxcryptor now I regularly get the above error when opening the Boxcryptor shortcut in Finder or doing a 'Save as' from some program (Photoshop, Word ect).

I deleted yesterday my finder prefs and restarted. This helped but now I get the error again. A relaunch of the Finder does not help by the way.

Is there a more permanent solution?

I am using Mac Mojave, 10.14.1

Now I have the situation after a restart it is working inside Finder but a save as from word or Adobe gives the above error.

Strangly, now the Save as works from Word and Adobe. So my conclusion is the Finder Extension is not stable enough, but this seems to be an Apple fault I red...
