Hi
i recently had to change my Boxcryptor Password, while doing so i also enabled 2-Factor Auth.
It worked for a few days when suddenly yesterday the Win10 App asked for me to relogin again.
I entered my Password and the Token which resulted in error "Authenticated Session was converted into OAuth2Tokens"
I quickly discovered that error spread to all my Systems not only this particular Windows 10 Installation.
Even a new Virtual Machine with freshly installed Client.
Since i still can login into the Website i tried to remove the 2-Factor again. This results in all my Boxcryptor clients responding with "wrong credentials" (the token prompt is not showing up anymore) - the passphrase is correct because if i intentially enter a wrong password the error code is different (e.g. user / pass combination not known)
I think there is a corrupted authentication session stuck somewhere in the OAUTH process which is causing this for me.
I tried to remove the affected the Devices from the Device List to reset them, no effect or change whatsover "wrong credentials" everywhere
I tried to change my password again to trigger a reset on all devices however it refuses to let me change the password again, the dialog strangely results in "You have tried to decrypt some data with a wrong key", using the same password i use to log into the website, as "current password"
I tried to enable 2-Factor again using another Application to generate the Token as i had some strange effects with "Authy" on another website once, the token prompt is showing up again after i enter my password however it results again in Authenticated Session was converted into OAuth2Tokens" - regardless if Windows10 or Macos.
I also raised case 81904 but as there is weekened i hope that somebody here as another idea.
Thanks a lot
Kind regards
