Can I uninstall the Dropbox app on Windows 10 after installing Boxcryptor?

Hi,
basic question... I want to encrypt my dropbox stuff, so I installed Boxcryptor on my windows 10 machine. Questions I have is:

1. Is everything that I put in X:Dropbox now encrypted?
2. Can I delete now my Dropbox app from my windows 10 computer and just use the boxcryptor app for my dropboxstuff, or is it needed?

Hi,

1. installing Boxcyptor will not automaticly encrypt your existing files. For more details please see https://www.boxcryptor.com/en/help/quickstart/windows/#how-to-encrypt-existing-files
2. The Dropbox app is still needed after installing Boxcryptor.
