Encrypting one folder within Google Drive or OneDrive

I'm trying to encrypt just one folder inside my Google Drive location. I don't see an option to choose one folder in this case. Boxcryptor tells me that Location Google Drive/x/myfolder is a subfolder of the existing location Google Drive. I can't delete location Google Drive either as it is autodetected. What is the best way if all that I need is to encrypt one folder within Google Drive.

One option could be to use one folder outside of Google Drive and ask Google Backup and Sync to sync that folder too. I prefer avoiding that as this will spread my files across multiple root folders.

Hello jjaimon,

you can's add subfolders of locations.
Just add GoogleDrive (well, actually it's already autodetected if the client software is already installed), then just encrypt the folder you want.
It's up to you to encrypt only what you want.
