How to decrypt .bc files which were accidentally moved outside of the boxcryptor drive?

I am using Boxcryptor in combination with iCloud.
The content of Boxcryptor was accidentally moved to iCloud Drive.
I want to go back to normal ; I have tried to:
- open the files (with the view of encrypting them again), but they are encrypted and won't open..so they are useless as such.
- put them back to boxcryptor but I get an error message (".bc files are not allowed in the boxcryptor drive").

I would highly appreciate any help!

Hi frog07,

.bc files are only allowed on the "physical" and not the "virtual" side.
So, you can't put them back to the Boxcryptor drive.
Just move them back to the "Cloud" side - iCloud/Boxcryptor folder.
