Encrypted filename and Dropbox deleted files recovery

Dropbox allowing you to recover deleted files and folders for up to 180 days is a great feature and it really gives you peace of mind.
However, with Boxcryptor filename encryption, this feature becomes very difficult to use.
Let's assume, I am missing some file or folder at some point, but I don't know since when it is missing. Is there any way I could know the filename to restore it? Does Boycryptor offer you anything to be able to still use file/folder recovery?

Today I deleted, in error, a folder full of encrypted files (OneDrive) and was very surprised that there is no mention of file recovery in the documentation (that I could find). This seems to be such an obvious and important need. I have submitted a request thru on-line help but why is there no mention in the documentation?

As I have no yet heard through official channels, if anyone has any idea how I can go about finding the files to recovrer in OneDrive, I would appreciate it very much.

This is one of several reasons why I disabled filename encryption as a global setting.
Fortunately BC2 allows you to set filename encryption for each folder & file individually.
So I use filename encryption only for some specific folder.

Thanks for your observation. I am curious as to your other reasons.

I received a reply from BC support and they told me about the option to use the trashbin (in settings) so that files deleted from BC will be sent there, with filenames unencrypted, which is a help.
