Boxcryptor and iCloudDrive(Win10) not playing well together

I've been unable to nail the exact sequences, but the observations below seem to be repeatable:

1. if I kill Boxcryptor, iCloudDrive kicks into life and starts syncing files
2. if BoxCryptor is running, iCloudDrive seems unable to sync files. It basically stops updating or doesn't see changes.
3. if I manipulate files under the BoxCryptor drive, iCloudDrive hangs explorer (I expect explorer is awaiting for file sync status from iCloudDrive which has, by that time, either died or hung up)

Note: this is the new native Windows 10 App iCloudDrive installed via the Win10 store and not manually installed from an installer .exe.

Obviously this could be entirely a problem for iCloudDrive.

Anyone else seen this?

PS I can confirm that iCloudDrive is faulting with 0xC0000409.

The use case was:

1. Take unencrypted file on desktop
2. Move to encrypted BoxCryptor folder in iCloud tree using explorer drag.
3. Copy works, but all explorer windows focussed on iCloud drive then hang.
4. Check - iCopuldDrive has faulted.
