Hello, we use boxcryptor to store secret information. We decided to trust boxcryptor. I store passwords in plain text files encrypted in boxcryptor. Unfortunatelly boxcryptor on android does not allow to edit files and for viewing there seems to be some bugs (some parts of file are not dispalyed - for example after hashmarks). So the question is what would be trusted application on android to view files? For example I tried google doc because it is google, but then I found out that anything I open is unencrypted stored in google drive 🙁 So that was kind of unpleasant shock for me 🙁. Therefore I start thinking what is secure app to view files? Not only from point of view that it may by design send data to 3rd part server without asking, but also it may keeps some temporary/cache data stored. It is true that on windows is kinda same problem - it is decrypted and any app can access it. I open often my passwords file in programmers notepad++. But on android it can be perhaps more secure if boxcryptor implements view&edit properly. But since it is not I kindly ask for some recommendation of what 3rd party app to use for open & edit text files... Sorry for long question...
