Hello! I am new to Boxcryptor. I am experimenting with different file types and have discovered that Boxcryptor does not work as advertised with my Microsoft Office Files (.docx, .pptx, or .xlsx). I have created test versions of each type (so they are new), and added them as "encrypted" to my Dropbox folder. When I attempt to open them in Boxcryptor I get errors. For example, the .docx files, it says "file <name> is not available." The only way for me to open it, is to decrypt it in Boxcryptor, and then open it in the original folder in Dropbox.
So far, Boxcrytor works as I would expect for image files, .txt and .pdf files. I can open them, edit them, save them, and they remain encrypted (I don't have to switch back and forth).
I am hesitant about using this to encrypt large folders on my Dropbox account, because it will be inconvenient to have to decrypt, modify, save, and re-encrypt when I am working.
Am I the only person having this issue? Is this normal behavior for Boxcrytor?
