I was trying to encrypt a large folder in OneDrive by copying it over to an already encrypted folder in OneDrive. A short while after starting the process, I get the following error:
There is not enough space on Boxcryptor. You need an additional 145 GB to copy these files.
I have 684 GB free in my OneDrive account and the folder I am trying to copy is only 164 GB. I did notice that the amount of free space on my local drive has decreased dramatically. Could it be that Boxcryptor is actually copying it to my local drive before encrypting and uploading to OneDrive as opposed to copying from OneDrive to OneDrive?
How do I copy large folders from an unencrypted folder in OneDrive to a Boxcryptor encrypted folder in OneDrive without using any (or minimal) local space?
