How to change default location from Dropbox to Dropbix sub-folder

Hi,

I'm new to BoxCryptor and have Dropbox installed. I want to setup a sub-folder of Dropbox to be my encrypted directory.

So I want to change the existing default location of c:\dropbox to c:\dropbox\box

I have the free version of BoxCryptor.

What do I need to do?

Hello.
You can't add subfolders of a location.
Locations are added with their parent folder.
This isn't actually a drawback, because you can selectively encrypt what you want.
Let Boxcryptor add Dropbox (autodetect) as a location, create an encrypted folder called "Box" (if you want to go this way) and move all your existent files/folders to it, or add new files there.

Hi.
This is a huge drawback. Don't take away options from the user.
I would really like to be able to just setup a subfolder. This missfeature is very annoying. Reasons? Well, first, it's what I want to do. Second? I would like to only have access to a subset of the files on this particular machine, I don't want to expose the whole thing. Third? I like short names and to know that everything in the X drive is crypted and secured, and that I don't have to navigate to X:\Dropbox\MyFiles\SecureFiles\mysecurefile.txt, I want it to be X:\mysecurefile.txt
