"App protection is enabled. You can only browse files in app."

Hello,
I cannot find any info on this. Either that or I'm misinterpreting what is written. I have Boxcryptor on my phone, I have my files in it, and I have a password set for it.

When I try to save a MS Word document to Boxcryptor, and I try to find somewhere in the Boxcryptor app to save the file to, it says

"App protection is enabled. You can only browse files directly in the Boxcryptor app."

So how can I save them to my Boxcryptor account? I don't understand what they mean by "app protection is enabled" and I cannot find anything in settings to turn that off so I can save my MS Word document

I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello.
The "AppProtection" is a feature which allows you to lock the app against unauthorized access.
You can find it in the app settings under "Lock Options".

When the AppProtection is enabled, a third-party app can't access Boxcryptor - the message you are getting.

Oh ok thanks. So if I want someone to have to type the password I set in order to open the Boxcryptor app on my phone, then I can't save something like a MS Word document directly into Boxcryptor?
