Has anyone else found that individual folders that they save on the Finder's "Favorites" Sidebar keep disappearing intermittently? I usually add 4 or 5 folders to the sidebar for easier access to them. They'll be working fine for days, sometimes weeks, but then suddenly with no warning, they just disappear and only the default Mac folders are there. I can't seem to figure out what is causing it. It may be a problem that also includes Dropbox, and I wonder if software updates to either Boxcryptor or Dropbox is causing the problem. There was one other post about this in this forum from back in 2018, but no one replied, so starting this up again in case it's a more common problem. This has been happening with previous versions of MacOS as well.
