No longer able to backup X:\dropbox using Macrium Reflect

Up until yesterday I was able to back up my UNENCRYPTED X: drive using Macrium Reflect. Last night my backup failed stating 'Folder X:\dropbox' could not be found. I can see my data, I can create a new Macrium backup definition file and select X:\dropbox and I can restore existing backups to x:\dropbox. The only change I made prior to the failure was logging out of Boxcryptor and logging back in. Has there been a code change which removes the X: drive from the VSS snapshot? I'm using a paid version of both Boxcryptor (v. 2.40.1216) and Macrium Reflect (v. 7.2 build 4971).

Same here. Did you find a solution? Quite annoying since the virtual drives created by other applications can be referred to from Macrium without any problems.

No I did not. I run a backup manually using Macrium. That works just fine, but obviously a scheduled backup running automatically would be much preferred as periodic backups are often forgotten. Will run one now!

Hey again, I think I figured out how to solve it. Go to your BoxCrptor settings -> advanced. Then, activate

Bind as harddrive (or something like that. In the German version it´s called "als Festplatte einbinden")
Bind for all users
Bind into Windows Mount Managers

Works for me now.

Thank you so much!!!! I just tried this modification and my scheduled backups are now working. For anyone else who needs this fix, the English translations are Mount as fixed drive, Mount for all users and Mount in Windows Mount Manager.
