I am wondering if you have encountered this problem:
After the update to Windows 2004 Boxcryptor stopped working. I mean completely.
It wouldn't even run at startup.
I contacted support and they were unable to help.
They sent me an email recently saying that
"Our latest Boxcryptor version supports version 2004 with small restrictions, which unfortunately are due to Windows and we hope that these will be fixed with the next Windows update."
I was using the latest version already. So this was not the problem.
They did not clarify what these small restrictions were and did not respond to my question about this.
Anyway, I had to revert to Windows 1909. I decided to wait.
I decided today to give it again a try.
Version 2004 was not available on my system anymore. Version 20H2 was available instead.
I installed and to my huge disappointment Boxcryptor again refuses to start.
The same exact behaviour. The program does not even show its window. It just crashes before it can start.
That is not good.
Once more I reverted to my previous Windows version, 1909, and hope that the support team will eventually do something about the problem.
But I am wondering, has anyone here experienced the same problem?
