Hi Everyone!
This is my first time using the forum, so I apologize in advance for any rules broken (if there are any, couldn't find them). I'll try to be brief and descriptive.
TLDR: Boxcryptor doesn't recognize multiple google drives accounts installed in the same computer and I can't share a Whisply link. Please help.
This is my situation: Win10 Home version 2004 (last update I found), HP laptop, i5-6300HQ, 64-bit processor and 16GB of ram. I've been using Boxcryptor free (for individuals) for over a month now and no problems so far. That is, until I tried to share a Whisply link.
I currently have many different cloud services installed and working in my computer: iCloud, dropbox and 3 different google drives (Google's Backup and Sync allows up to three accounts to be synced with one PC). My first problem was that Boxcryptor identified only one of my gDrives (my personal one), and not the other two. This was easily circumvented by selecting a local "custom" location to be encrypted. I selected my work gDrive it properly appeared on the Boxcryptor (X🙂 drive and I can choose which folders to encrypt.
So far so good (not ideal, but working), until I tried to share an encrypted file through Whisply. That's when Whisply says it "doesn't support custom locations". I believe the problem lies with Boxcryptor not properly identifying my many gDrives as possible linkable drives in settings. I don't know if it's a bug, something nobody thought about or something that can't be implemented. In the end I had to decrypt the file and share it through a google drive link.
Has anybody else had this problem before? Is there a solution to it?
Thanks in advance!
