Enable spotlight option not available (greyed out)

I'm running version 2.37.1043 on MacOS Big Sur version 11.0.1. The enable spotlight option is greyed out. Is this not supported?!

I asked support, and got an answer. Known issue. In case someone else comes along with the same question and sees my post:
