Hi Mike,
In general, we do not share a public roadmap - not because we want to keep stuff secret, but because one of our company values is agility and being able to quickly adjust our development plans if priorities, requirements or circumstances change. E.g. when COVID hit the world last year and many customers heavily increased their Microsoft Teams usage, we dropped all other tasks and immediately started working on Boxcryptor for Microsoft Teams. Only 2 months later we've been able to release a completely new product and helped our customers maintain their data security also in this rapidly changed environment. Committing publicly to specific development goals and timeframes would contradict this value. You can read more about it in our blog:

I can share that one of our main priorities currently is a complete rewrite of Boxcryptor for iOS which will be a significant improvement for our iOS users and should be ready in 1-2 months. Improving data security in Microsoft Teams will also be an important priority in 2021 for us and we'll continue to improve Boxcryptor for Microsoft Teams as well as integrating encrypted files in Microsoft Teams in our mobile and desktop applications. Of course, we do have many more plans, but they are not ready to be shared publicly right now.
To answer your specific questions: We do not have any short (<3 months) or medium (<6 months) term plans for a Boxcryptor client for NAS systems (Synology, Qnap, etc.) or for a native Boxcryptor for Linux client. Especially the missing native Linux client is indeed also bothering us and we really want to work on it. But given the low customer demand, other priorities and constrained resources, we currently do not have time for it. I hope this will change in the future and I'm very sorry if this negatively affects your Boxcryptor usage.
Best regards,
Robert
