When it reoccurred, where you faced with a "sign-in screen"?
I am not sure why exactly an update should cause this - my best guess is that due to a vast version jump, some migration is constantly failing and thus forcing the app to re-authenticate on every update.
If that's the case, I'd try to delete all Boxcryptor settings to make sure so start from scratch:
- Exit Boxcryptor
- Go to
%localAppData%
and delete the Boxcryptor
folder
- Start Boxcryptor, sign-in and set up the App Protection
There will be a new update in the next days, please let me know if the issue is solved then.
