Renamed folder after de-/encrypting

I wonder whether there is a reason why BC is renaming the folders permanently?
I have a folder "test" and after encryption it is called "test_encrypted".
After removing the encryption the folder is called "test_encrypted_decrypted"

Hi dt1807,

The _encrypted / _decrypted suffix is added to prevent any synchronization issue with your cloud provider's sync client. After encryption and successful synchronization, you can simply rename the folder.
Note that you don't need to decrypt folders "manually" before accessing the files.

I had to temporarely encrypt some folders since I wanted to test the performance of different sftp clients.
And working on the fly within the "container" is not really recommended when you are using plenty of small files.
At least 2-3 years ago it was the case and I never had time to test it again. I just gave up that time.

Out of interest - do you compile Boxcryptor within of an encrypted folder or in a standard one?
