I've been happily using two actively syncing Google Drive accounts simultaneously in Boxcryptor for Windows for years. The Boxcryptor location of one is labeled "Google Drive", and the Boxcryptor location of the other is labeled "Google Drive Ops". A couple weeks ago, when using Boxcryptor 2.47.1752, at Microsoft's prompting I naively switched from Backup & Sync to Google Drive. Luckily for me, though, everything continued to work fine with Boxcryptor for weeks. However, last night I upgraded to Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 on one of my computers, and I was unable to get both Google Drive accounts to work simultaneously in Boxcryptor on that machine. Although Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 appears to recognize that I have two Google Drive accounts, the two accounts share the same location name in Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 (i.e., both accounts are called "Google Drive" in Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 instead of the two different names, "Google Drive" and "Google Drive Ops", that appear in Boxcryptor 2.47.1752). So, Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 will let me check either one of the Google Drive locations, but not both at the same time (in Boxcryptor->Settings->Locations, one account has a gray checkbox whenever the other is checked -- I can check none or one but not both). I do not know how to manually change the location names in Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 after it has automatically added them, which it seems determined to do. I tried some of hacks, but nothing worked for long. For example, I tried...
- temporarily removing one of the accounts from Google Drive
- connecting Boxcryptor to that account's temporarily-dormant sync folder by manually adding that location in Boxcryptor using a different name
- adding the account back to Google Drive to reactivate syncing on the folder
This 3-step hack worked at first (i.e., both locations available in Boxcryptor with the names "Google Drive" and "Google Drive Ops" as I had been using for years), but, after restarting Boxcryptor, it essentially reverted to the failed state that existed immediately after upgrading to Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 the first time (i.e., both locations sharing the location name "Google Drive" with only one available at a time). In other words, even after hacking two different location names into Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 for my two different Google Drive accounts, upon restart, Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 forced both location names to be "Google Drive" and wouldn't let me select them both.
Has anyone else encountered this problem in Boxcryptor 2.48.1906 and found a fix? I've been able to get things working again by reverting back to Boxcryptor 2.47.1752, but I'm not sure how long that's sustainable.
