I've heard that encrypting an SDD is the best way to securely erase it before selling it because of "wear leveling." If so, since I use Boxcryptor, which is an encryption program, I was hoping I could use it to encrypt an entire SDD for purposes of scrambling any traces of data on it beyond recovery. That way I don't have to hassle with downloading any additional programs. Are there step-by-step instructions for doing that?
