So I was playing with it for a while and the android version of the app seems to be broken. I created an encrypted folder on my android device in my dropbox that is supposed to encrypt automatically everything that I put in it. I then set up the dropsync to sync a local directory to this new encrypted folder.
On windows I can see that the boxcryptor created a new drive inside which I can see my dropbox root. When I navigate to the folder that I created on my phone I can see that it contains FolderKey.bch and it is marked as an encrypted folder.
But when dropsync starts unloading files to it they are all marked as synced and unencrypted.
If I do the same thing on the windows side: I drag and drop a file from desktop to the encrypted folder it does get encrypted automatically and it also marked correctly. So why doesn't it encrypt the files automatically on android as they get moved to the encrypted folder?
I'm still interested in using the app if it turns out that I'm not using it correctly? I didn't see any manual that would cover this. I want to use it only on 2 devices as I described but I'm happy to pay for whatever version that works with a support provided.
