Hi there
In my setup i run windows and all programs on a seperate drive to my data. Windows runs on the default C: drive and all my data i have on the physically seperate D: drive.
Boxcryptor creates a new drive X: (in my case), which uses the same storage space as the C: drive.
Now, since all my data that i want to protect is located on my D: drive, which is considerably larger than my C: drive, i'd like Boxcryptor to use the space i have on my D: drive instead. This way i could just copy all my files from my D: drive to the new X: Boxcryptor drive.
But as it is now, if i copy data form D: to X: it takes up more space on my C: drive because Boxcryptor is installed there.
Can i just install it on the D: drive instead?
And is that advisable? Because installing programs on a seperate drive from the one that runs your windows can cause issues.
Or is there another solution to this problem? A setting i missed perhaps?
Regards
