I installed the windows boxcryptor and filled in the details to create an account.
The icon span for no more than 30 seconds and then a red error message briefly appeared:
Property [username] with value [myemailaddress] must be unique
I tried several more times to create the account - didnt work. Same error message.
I then tried to create account on the web page, same error message.
At no point was I able to go beyond the error message to set up an account.
I then tried to log in with the details - didn't work - error message "we were unable to find a user with that username and password - if it exists we will send you an email"...
I then received some emails saying "unsuccessful sign in" telling me that someone tried to login with the wrong password, indicating both web and windows logins, which I had tried. So it obviously knows my email address to send me the message, but the account was never set up and so i am guessing the password is corrupted?
I dont know if boxcryptor then sends an email to verify the actual email account (it did send me one to verify this "community" login) - it didnt do that for the boxcryptor account set up.
Something has gone wrong in the creation of the account! - Can anyone help please?
