I've been having a lot of issues lately with Boxcryptor.
I'm consistently able to crash Windows Explorer and Microsoft office when using Boxcryptor. I've reproduced this issue on multiple Windows 10 computers so I know it's your software. Closing Boxcryptor and the problem is resolved. When this issue is encounted, explorer.exe and other processes get locked and the only resolution is to reboot and try again. I did disable the recently used and frequently used file display in Explorer Folder Options. This was because renaming files took WAY too long with Explorer.
Really need a fix for this. I also opened multipe tickets regarding file corruption, see: 164124, 165407,165408. Issue is caused intermittently when moving files within Boxcryptor in Windows 10 with Dropbox.
I'm using 21H2 of Windows 10. I'm a heavy user with many applications and instances of office running. When Boxcryptor locks explorer and office, the desktop has to be rebooted. This issue can easily be reproduced on latest windows with dropbox/office/boxcryptor. I would imagine this is super common unless there's something different on my system.
