Boxcryptor alternative and file versioning

Hello,
I have my own small cloud based on Syncthing and my Nas devices where data are encrypted with Boxcryptor, and I'm one of the few users who need to migrate away from Boxcryptor because of the known story.
Need to find an alternative, like all of us I guess. I like Cryptomator a lot, but I have an important drowback: in Boxcryptor each file is individual and recognizable, "only" its content is encrypted. This allows me to use the file versioning feature to roll back to a previous instance.
In Cryptomator files are stored in its vault and files are not recognizable anymore, so I'm foced to give up using the versioning, and that's a pity.
Any suggestion for an alternative more similar to Boxcryptor?

dbalgera I also switched to Cryptomator and ran into the same problem… it makes backing up trickier. It now has to be done at the vault level instead of at the individual file level. So, this is what I’ve done… I’m using a AWS S3 bucket to store my Cryptomator vault. Then backing up using AWS Backup. You can restore to a point in time (PITR) up to 35 days ago, and also take entire-bucket snapshots as often as needed. I’ve run some test restores from both types of backups and they worked flawlessly. Hope that helps.

dbalgera That's true. From a privacy perspective is Cryptomator awesome, but it has its disadvantages. Boxcryptor was never able to hide the folder structure.
