Disappearing folders

I use Boxcryptor (version 2.7.1445; latest) on my MacOSX (running Ventura 13.1; latest). I use the pcloud to backup my boxcryptor encrypted files. I am having a strange and very annoying issue: Sometimes when I create a folder or files, it will appear as being stored in the folder but after a while will disappear from that folder or the newly created folder will completely disappear. Sometimes I may be in the folder when the Finder will complain that the folder does not exist. Then upon going to the parent folder, I will sometimes see the "disappeared" folder apear again with its files. It is strange that the folder that was empty a few seconds before now shows files. Then the same folder disappears again. It doesn't happen to every folder or file that I create. I don't believe that the pcloud sync software is causing problems.

I am wondering if anyone else has faced similar issues, and can help resolve it.

F.Y.I., I had file name encryption turned on, which I have turned off now. I first thought that was causing problems.

Ensure that both Boxcryptor and pCloud are updated to the latest versions compatible with macOS Ventura. nce Boxcryptor relies on Spotlight for searching and indexing, reindexing Spotlight might help. You can do this by going to System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy, then adding and removing your drive from the list. Boot your Mac in Safe Mode (hold down the Shift key during startup) to check if the issue persists. MyIndigoCard This can help isolate the issue to software conflicts. Ensure that FileVault encryption is not conflicting with Boxcryptor. You can check this in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > FileVault.
