Time Limit for Local Account (after account is closed)

Good evening,

I am about to export my key for the first time, as my account will be closing in 30-40 days. Is there a video tutorial on YouTube that explains this process? I have some questions.

1) Once I export my key, is my account 'automatically' switched to a local account? If so, can I switch it back to an online account?

2) If I still have encrypted files after my account is terminated, can I simply use the local account and key to decrypt the files? If so, can I use the local account and key for several months after my account is officially terminated to decrypt my files? I have about 4TB of data to migrate and I'd like to know if I can use the local account/key to decrypt files and migrate gradually.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know this as well. I never saw the emails re my account being closed (they got butied in hundrs of promo emails in my Gmail) and the account was locked 4 days ago. I signed into my account online and exported a key, but what do I do with it to decrypt the files?

You have to create a local account using this key. Whether this still works - I do not know
