A few days ago, I started receiving a 'corrupted file' message after I add and save some comments to PDF files. It began just after an Adobe Reader update so the first thing I did was to reinstall it, but the problem persisted. So, I tried to install another PDF reader called Foxit, but still the problem persists. Finally, I tried to create a new PDF document out of Boxcryptor folder and and after making several comments on it, the file is still good. I think Boxcryptor is damaging my files, and it has never happened before. I am getting the same thing starting a few days ago. Any encrypted PDF I edit ends up corrupted.

fwiw, I some more testing: PDFs (so far) are the only file type that ends up corrupted. I've tested an Excel file, a Word file, and a text file, and things are fine.

I am also having the same issue, which has only developed over the past week or so. Now almost every edited PDF appears to be at risk of 'damage' rendering it unreadable by Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (but not, for example, by Chrome).

In fact I have changed tack as don't want to risk any more corrupted files. I will post back in the next couple of days if the issue with file damage seems to have disappeared.

I sent in a debug log over the weekend, and yes, this build seems to have resolved it for me.

Just wanted to chime in to say that I was having the same issue. Admittedly, it was very frustrating and I lost nearly a dozen PDFs. Anyway, I found this thread, installed the experimental, and now everything looks to be working as normal.

You can install the latest official version, the fix is included, so, no need for the experimental anymore.
