• Strange file copies of encrypted files

Hello, I am using Boxcryptor to encrypt my Dropbox.
There I always find strange "copies" of single encrypted documents. These have the same name as the original file, supplemented by a seemingly random character string (see screenshot). How can the problem be solved?

Boxcryptor with Dropbox under macOS (last version, but already the last versions of macOS were affected)

    vonseydewitz Hello.

What do you mean with "ut already the last versions of macOS were affected"?
Are you using 10.14.x or already 10.15 Beta?

In any case, these files seems to be temporary Excel files (at least you have an Excel file with the name "Band....xlsx" in your screenshot.
Try to move that Excel file to another folder, make some modifications to it, close it and check to see if any new "Band....." folders are created.
Also (if possible) check to see if the issue appears with another cloud too.
If yes, then generate a debug log (see below) and send it to support@boxcryptor.com by referring to the post here.
Please also specify which MS Office version are you using.
