Hi everybody,
If Boxcryptor is not working after you upgraded to macOS Big Sur 11.0, please make sure that you have the latest Boxcryptor version 2.37.1043 installed. In doubt, please download the latest version from our website and install it:
https://www.boxcryptor.com/download
If have version 2.37.1043 installed and still experience problems with Boxcryptor, please do not hesitate to contact us via support@boxcryptor.com - even as Boxcryptor Free user - and we'll be able to help you best there. When contacting us, please include a debug log in your email as described here:

There are some rare cases for problems on Big Sur due to the system configuration. Until now, the most common problem is a mount failure of the Boxcryptor drive because the required BCFS kernel extension cannot be loaded by macOS. However, the reason is not Boxcryptor itself but rather legacy BlackBerry USB kernel extensions which are not compatible with Big Sur and cause any other kernel extension fail to load. Removing these incompatible - and in all cases unused - kernel extensions fixed the problem in all cases. CCC also has some information about the BlackBerry USB kernel extensions and also a guide how to remove them:

Robert
