MacOS 12 Enable encryption

Hi,

I use Boxcryptor to encrypt a dropbox folder and it works flawlessly.
Now I would like to encrypt my hard drive using the MacOS FileVault.
So basically my question is can I just activate FileVault or is it not advised to do it in combination with the Boxcryptor encryption?

You can enable FielVault, there are no issue with FileVault and Boxcryptor.
