Invalid Boxcryptor File - cannot decrypt

I'm trying to decrypt my files but ran into this error for 3 of my files:
"Invalid Boxcryptor File"

Mac OS 12.6.2 Monterey

I've tried signing in/out, trying it from both my laptop and my phone, but nothing works.

First: Did you already export your key? If not, do it now!

Second: Which cloud storage provider are you using with Boxcryptor?

Third: Did you try to use the old version of Boxcryptor? (the legacy Boxcryptor application, without the new Apple API?)

hi - i installed the old version of Boxcryptor (2.47.1885) and loaded my local file that was just exported a week or two ago.

unfortunately, i still cannot decrypt these files:
"The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code 100014)."

Currently: Macbook Pro with Mac OS 12.6.2. I also tried on my Android phone to no avail.

Before: Macbook Pro (I forget the version).

I fear somehow these 3 files (out of thousands) got corrupted or somehow were encrypted with a different key, though I have no idea how just these 3 would've had that problem.

booboxcryptor Yes, try to first download the files directly from Dropbox. When you have all your encrypted files on your local drive, you can use a custom location in Boxcryptor to decrypt.
